Account Executive – Home Health Location: Massachusetts (Field-Based)

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Uncapped Monthly Commissions
Comfort Home Care is a Joint Commission-accredited psychiatric home health agency serving patients throughout Massachusetts. Since 2007, we have been committed to providing high-quality nursing care and medication management services to individuals living with mental health and chronic medical conditions.
Reporting to the Director of Business Development & Patient Intake, the Account Executive is responsible for expanding referral partnerships and supporting continued growth in an assigned territory.
This is a field-based business development role focused on building relationships with hospitals, behavioral health facilities, skilled nursing facilities, physician practices, and other healthcare partners.
The ideal candidate is comfortable networking, presenting, and developing long-term referral relationships while representing an organization dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain referral relationships with healthcare providers and community partners
- Conduct in-person visits to hospitals, physician offices, behavioral health facilities, and other referral sources
- Educate referral partners on Comfort Home Care services and admission criteria
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase referrals
- Deliver presentations and participate in networking events and community outreach activities
- Track sales activities and referral development efforts within HubSpot
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support successful patient admissions
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Previous healthcare sales, home health, hospice, behavioral health, or healthcare business development experience preferred
- Strong communication, presentation skills, and relationship building skills
- Strong territory planning, strategy, forecasting abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care plans preferred
