Fluxwerx Manufacturing is an ASME certified pressure vessel fabrication shop and full-service sanitary fabrication facility specializing in stainless steel process equipment and systems. We serve the food manufacturing, beverage, pharmaceutical, and life sciences industries with custom fabrication solutions including pressure vessels, sanitary piping and tubing systems, process skids, equipment repairs, and custom engineered solutions.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to drive growth in the Denver-area food manufacturing, beverage, pharmaceutical, and life sciences markets. This is a relationship-driven, consultative sales role requiring deep knowledge of sanitary process equipment and the ability to translate customer needs into engineered fabrication solutions.
The ideal candidate will have established connections in the local food/pharma manufacturing community and a proven track record selling capital equipment or fabrication services.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Identify and acquire new clients in food manufacturing, beverage, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sectors throughout the Denver metro and Colorado region
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue within target industries
- Generate qualified leads through networking, trade shows, industry events, and direct outreach
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotes, and presentations
- Negotiate contracts and close sales
Account Management
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with plant managers, engineers, procurement teams, and operations staff
- Understand customer processes, pain points, and capital planning cycles
- Identify opportunities for repeat business, expansions, and service work
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues proactively
Technical Consultation
- Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and existing systems
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop custom solutions
- Provide technical guidance on sanitary design, ASME code requirements, material selection, and fabrication methods
- Support customers through project lifecycle from concept to commissioning
What We Fabricate
- ASME pressure vessels (fermenters, reactors, storage tanks, etc.)
- Sanitary process piping and tubing systems (3-A, ASME BPE)
- Custom process skids and automated systems
- CIP/SIP systems
- Heat exchangers and mixing systems
- Equipment repairs, modifications, and upgrades
- Custom stainless steel fabrication and engineering
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in equipment sales, process systems sales, or technical sales within food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries
- Proven track record of acquiring new business and managing key accounts
- Strong understanding of sanitary design principles, ASME codes, and stainless steel fabrication
- Familiarity with 3-A sanitary standards, ASME BPE, cGMP, or similar regulatory frameworks
- Established network of contacts within Denver-area food/beverage/pharma manufacturing community
- Excellent technical communication and presentation skills
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, technical drawings, and specifications
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage complex sales cycles
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally (primarily Denver metro area)
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering degree or technical background (mechanical, chemical, food science, etc.)
- Experience selling fabrication services, capital equipment, or engineered-to-order solutions
- Knowledge of pressure vessel design, welding processes, and material certifications
- CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Existing relationships with food processors, breweries, distilleries, pharmaceutical manufacturers, or biotech companies in Colorado
Pay: $68,556.90 - $200,000.00 per year
