Position summary: HMG Services, L.L.C., a leader in the Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care industry located in The Woodlands is currently seeking a qualified Long Term Care Medicaid Biller to join our team of energetic, dedicated professionals at the Central Business Office (CBO). *NOT REMOTE

• Must have LONG TERM CARE MEDICAID billing experience
• Must also have knowledge of PCC

Responsibility / Position information for the Medicaid Biller include:

· Responsible for providing timely and accurate billing and collections of all accounts for the assigned facilities.

· Performs monthly review of accounts receivable aging for all resident account balances and accounts with Department Manager.

· Responsible for communicating and resolving escalated billing issues.

· Must be able to assess accuracy of claims and perform corrections (if needed) to ensure timely payments.

· Ability to work closely with facilities regarding training on current billing requirements.

Requirements for the Billing Specialist:

Education / Qualifications:

· High School Diploma

Knowledge / Experience:

· Minimum 2 years of applicable experience in long term care healthcare billing and collections

· Experience in billing of UB04 or HCFA1500 is required

· Knowledge of LTC / SNF service functions and TMHP RUG billing and collections is required

· Advanced computer skills

· Professional demeanor
