BOOST Kids is looking for an experienced and energetic pediatric SLP to join our team and help meet the growing demand for speech therapy evaluation and treatment appointments at our clinic.

This candidate should have basic knowledge of all aspects of pediatric outpatient speech services, including: thorough evaluations with appropriate standardized testing, CPT codes and basic billing rules, evidence based treatment interventions, documentation requirements, augmentative communication devices, and caregiver communication and education.

The candidate should be friendly and creative and willing to work as part of a team to expand the current offerings and services we provide at BOOST Kids. This will be a position that can be suited for growth and leadership.

Job Details:

• Work and collaborate with our full time SLP and team of occupational therapists
• Evaluate and treat clients 6 months to 14 years old with a variety of diagnoses and delays
• Help maintain a positive, motivated, and clean work environment
• Execute timely and thorough documentation
• Communicate with families throughout the therapy process regarding treatment modalities, goals, discharge planning

Requirements:

• Master’s degree from an accredited university in speech-language pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Current Alabama license
• 2+ years experience in a pediatric setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Swallowing and dysphagia experience with specified continuing education
• Dyslexia training
• Knowledge of sensory processing and sensory integration
• Outpatient pediatric experience
• Spanish speaking
