This is a hands-on management-training role. You start by learning every crew station on the floor from the cash register to the grill. After completing 150 hours of floor time, taking online courses, and passing a ServSafe exam, you step into the official Shift Leader position. It fits someone with food service experience ready to earn their leadership spot in a highly vocal kitchen that plays classic rock on shift.

What You Must Have

• Required:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years of work experience
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Access to reliable transportation
• Preferred:
• Willingness to travel to multiple store locations (eligible for higher pay)

Your Floor Duties

• Cross-train on the cash register, fry station, and grill to master daily store operations.
• Complete 150 hours of hands-on floor work and online Five Guys University courses.
• Pass the ServSafe manager certification, company Kitchen Test, and Manager Test to officially earn your Shift Leader title.
• Call out orders and communicate loudly with your crew across the open kitchen.
• Keep the lobby, counters, and prep areas clean to exact company standards.
• Follow all food safety procedures for handling and storing fresh ingredients.

Compensation & Offerings

• Up to $17.00 per hour
• Cash crew bonuses paid out two times per week
