We are recruiting for an experienced front office team member for a specialty practice in Athens/Watkinsville, GA preferably residing in or near the area. The new Team Member is responsible for working in a medical clinic for foot and ankle services. We are looking for someone who can communicate with patients and co-workers in a professional yet friendly manner, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment!

Responsibilities for front office include:

• answering phones
• scheduling appointments
• check in, checkout
• insurance verification
• collecting payments

Preferred experience:

• 1 year in a medical office setting and an understanding of health insurance as it relates to patient benefits, deductibles, co-insurance, and co-pays.
• Ability to interact directly with patients
• Knowledge of specialty (or specialties) as appropriate
• Excellent Prioritization and Time Management skills
• Excellent Collaboration and Teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.
• Ability to concentrate and work independently
• Excellent listening skills.
• Ability to understand and apply relevant legal concepts (e.g., confidentiality).

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No weekends

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
