What You Bring

• Active CERTIFIED Dietary Manager (CDM) credential — REQUIRED
• Graduate of an accredited dietetic training program (ADA-approved preferred)
• Proven experience in Long-Term Care and kitchen operations
• Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting (SNF, hospital, or similar)
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to be on-call and to fill-in
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility
• Ability to pass background screening and provide proper work authorization documents

Responsibilities: As the Dietary Manager, you are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including collaborating with healthcare professionals to meet individual dietary needs

• Ensure residents have a nutrition assessment completed upon admission and once quarterly after admission.
• Complete diet profiles upon admission and annually after admission.
• Establish the residents dietary care plan and that it is updated to match their correct diet order, supplements, snacks, adaptive equipment, etc.
• Make sure care plan meetings are completed quarterly for each resident with the care plan team, the resident and the resident’s family members.
• You must be prepared with the resident’s current diet, supplements, weight and intake of meals.
• You are required to attend meetings to discuss any changes that need to be made to resident’s diets, supplements or snacks.
• Other responsibilities requested by your supervisor.

Experience/Education

• Candidate must be a CERTIFIED Dietary Manager (CDM)

Must have experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
