We're looking for an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator or Senior Estimator who wants to do meaningful work, collaborate with a great team, and make a visible impact. What You'll Do

Estimating is your primary responsibility.

You'll prepare accurate, competitive estimates while partnering closely with Operations to position Meridian for success.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing quantity takeoffs and complete project estimates.
• Reviewing plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Developing bid strategies and pricing recommendations.
• Soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Participating in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and estimate reviews.
• Supporting project turnover and preconstruction planning.
• Building relationships with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Contributing to continuous improvement through lessons learned and collaboration.

What We're Looking For

• Heavy civil estimating experience (Estimator and Senior Estimator opportunities available).
• Experience with HCSS HeavyBid or comparable estimating software.
• Strong understanding of heavy civil construction means and methods.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Experience in Arizona, New Mexico, or surrounding markets is a plus.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Construction estimating: 5 years (Required)
• HeavyBid: 5 years (Required)
• Civil engineering: 5 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:
