Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation and logistics processes. This position involves coordinating shipments, managing communication between drivers and clients, and utilizing various systems to optimize freight movement. The Dispatcher will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service while efficiently managing logistics operations.

Duties

• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of freight.
• Utilize phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally and provide accurate information.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
• Perform data entry tasks related to shipment tracking, inventory management, and client communications.
• Analyze transportation data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and enhance service quality.
• Coordinate with various departments to resolve issues related to freight movement.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and communications.

Experience

• Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics role is preferred.
• Familiarity with freight operations and shipping/receiving processes is beneficial.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze information effectively for decision-making purposes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
