Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Customer Service Representative to join our team. Responsibilities

• Manage customer inquiries related to shipments, deliveries, and order status through multiple communication channels, providing timely and accurate information.
• Oversee warehouse distribution activities including shipping & receiving, inventory control, materials handling, and warehouse operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing, category management, vendor management, and contract negotiations to optimize supply chain costs and performance.
• Analyze data using Excel data analysis tools, SQL queries, and Tableau dashboards to identify root causes of delays or discrepancies and implement process improvements.
• Support demand planning and production scheduling by monitoring inventory levels within warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards for import/export activities involving NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations.
• Participate in supply chain analytics initiatives to enhance freight efficiency, pricing strategies, and overall logistics management.
• Maintain strong cross-functional communication with sourcing, procurement, transportation planning, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Requirements

• Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms (such as AS400 or SAP), and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Demonstrated proficiency in data collection, analysis skills—including Excel data analysis—and the use of SQL or Tableau for reporting insights.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse distribution, shipping logistics, freight management, inventory control, and materials handling procedures.
• Familiarity with procurement processes including sourcing negotiations, vendor management, contracts review, and trade compliance regulations.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory if willing to obtain certification upon hire.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with mechanical equipment used in warehouse operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations related to NVOCC operations or global logistics is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel spreadsheets), ERP systems like SAP or AS400, and transportation planning tools such as TMS software.
