CME Corp’s Service Solutions team is looking to add a Medical Equipment Lead Installer (Direct to Site Lead Installer) to the Roselle, IL service center. The DTSL will be the local designated installation subject matter expert working in conjunction with the Service Center Manager. This person will play a key role in ensuring that all product installation activities exceed customer expectations and that CME Corp’s high level of customer satisfaction is maintained in the Roselle, IL area. This position will have the option of occasional travel to neighboring states and service centers.
- Lead a team of DTS installers, while being an active installer, to complete the following tasks:
- Order preparation including equipment assembly within CME Corp’s warehouse
- Direct to Site deliveries to healthcare customers utilizing 26’ delivery vehicle(s)
- Installation, set-up, and wall mounting of medical equipment inside healthcare facility
- Effectively and professionally communicate with customers and co-workers
- Navigate and coordinate scheduling activities with the Service Center Manager
- Regular daily travel within the greater Roselle, IL region, as well as surrounding states as DTSL
- Occasional overnight travel as required, assisting other service centers nationally
- Ensure DTS team members follow and adhere to established DTS standard operating procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Sound verbal and written skills
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with the Microsoft office products
- Schedule flexibility, starting and ending times vary daily (1st shift)
- Ability to participate in occasional projects requiring overnight stays
- Must be physically fit and lift up to 75lbs
- Must have mechanical aptitude and be familiar with general hand and power tools
- Carpentry skills are a plus
- Experience driving up to a 26’ straight truck, ability to comply with DOT regulation requirements
