Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control by accurately stocking, organizing, and rotating frozen food and dairy products using RF scanners and other warehouse tools
• Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring products are handled safely with heavy lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage areas, including regular cleaning, maintenance, and merchandising to uphold safety standards
• Assist customers with product inquiries, provide exceptional customer service, and support retail sales efforts through effective communication skills
• Operate shipping & receiving procedures, including verifying deliveries, processing shipments, and updating inventory records
• Use organizational skills to ensure proper placement of products for easy access and optimal presentation on shelves
• Support packaging, stocking, and merchandising activities to enhance store appearance and product visibility

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management systems is preferred
• Experience operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment is highly advantageous
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs effectively
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control and retail math accuracy
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently
• Knowledge of grocery store operations including produce handling, shipping & receiving processes, retail sales techniques, cashiering, and merchandising practices
