Nature of Work:
The DARTNet Institute, a not-for-profit 501(c)3 research institute, supports research and quality improvement activities utilizing electronic health data, patient-reported outcomes, and focuses on pragmatic clinical trials and secondary data analyses. DARTNet also supports the collaboration of multiple academic centers, independent research groups and industry partners.
This Research Assistant will provide support and coordination for research projects, grants, or initiatives of the DARTNet institute. This includes implementing day-to-day research activities, interacting with internal and external stakeholders, and completion of study deliverables and tasks.
This position reports to the DARTNet Institute Research Nurse Manager. No supervisor responsibilities.
General Description of Work:
The research assistant is responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned research projects and supplies and shipping logistics. This includes but is not limited to: managing, organizing, and implementing day-to-day research activities, monitoring timelines and ensuring proper completion of study deliverables, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, managing regulatory compliance, and participating in project-related data management activities. This individual will work closely with the DARTNet Institute Research Director, Research Nurse Manager, project managers and study coordinators, as well as others on assigned responsibilities.
This individual should have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (i.e.,, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams). Experience with Adobe Pro and other research software is preferred (REDCap, Qualtrics, etc.).
Responsibilities
Manage and implement day-to-day research activities
Design and monitor work plans and timelines
Communicate and interact closely with various stakeholders (e.g., investigators, clinicians, staff, research sites, patients, vendors, etc.) to accomplish project objectives.
Organize, attend, or facilitate program meetings as required
Resolve site level inquiries and operational issues promptly to maintain study continuity

Minimum Requirements
· Education: Bachelor’s degree
· Experience: Entry-level position
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience: Previous experience in directly interacting with research participants; 2 years of experience in human research environment
· Language: Spanish language proficiency preferred
Working Conditions / Physical Effort
· Responsibilities may require working evenings and weekends
· Moderate lifting of research supplies and packages up to 20 lbs.
· No regular travel required
· Location: Aurora, CO-100% Onsite
