Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Tatar Language Experts to support AI Training and evaluation initiatives. In this role, you will help improve next-generation AI systems by applying your expertise in Tatar language, translation, transcription, linguistic analysis, and language annotation.

This is not a traditional translation role. Contributors will work on AI training and evaluation projects designed to improve how AI systems understand, generate, interpret, and analyze Tatar language content in real-world contexts.

No prior AI experience is required. What matters most is strong linguistic expertise, attention to detail, cultural understanding, and the ability to evaluate language quality accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe Tatar-language video and audio content, accurately capturing timestamps, speaker details, and spoken content.
• Translate complex materials between Tatar and English while preserving contextual and conceptual accuracy.
• Evaluate AI-generated language outputs for fluency, grammar, accuracy, consistency, and natural language quality.
• Analyze linguistic features including grammar, syntax, semantics, tone, and conceptual meaning.
• Detect, interpret, and annotate emotional and tonal nuances within multimedia content.
• Produce clear and comprehensive documentation related to language analysis, transcription, and annotation tasks.
• Collaborate with project teams to provide feedback that improves data quality and AI model performance.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of multilingual language datasets.
• Commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting project deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in both Tatar and English.
• Demonstrated expertise in transcription, translation, localization, or advanced linguistic analysis.
• Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, semantics, and contextual language usage.
• Experience identifying emotional tone, sentiment, and speaker intent within written or spoken content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Experience creating documentation, reports, or annotation outputs for language-related projects.
• Comfortable working with digital tools and online collaboration platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience contributing to AI training, machine learning, NLP, speech recognition, or language annotation projects.
• Academic background in Linguistics, Translation Studies, Language Education, or a related field.
• Experience evaluating multilingual content and language datasets.
• Familiarity with speech, transcription, or language quality assessment workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and document complex linguistic phenomena.
