Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for digital products with focus on user-centered experiences

• Conduct use research and usability testing to inform design decisions

• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups

• Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries

• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs

Qualification Requirements

• Deep knowledge/expertise of Shopify ecosystem, themes, apps, etc. (No development experience necessary)

• 1-2 years of experience in UX design, with a focus on e-commerce and/or Shopify.

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)

• Understanding of responsive design and cross-platform experiences

• A portfolio showcasing your UX design skills, particularly wireframes and prototypes.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

• Experience designing for ecommerce or retail digital products

What You'll Do

• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for ecommerce experiences

• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions

• Design cohesive visual systems and maintain component libraries

• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs

• Optimize customer journey touchpoints across desktop and mobile platforms

• Translate complex ecommerce requirements into intuitive shopping experiences
