The Evidence-Based Intervention for Diabetes Prevention research program seeks a highly organized and motivated Research Coordinator to support two projects focused on diabetes prevention and healthy aging. The first project is a culturally adapted diabetes prevention program for adults at risk for diabetes in the United Arab Emirates. The second project is a qualitative study exploring barriers and facilitators to participation in virtual nutrition and physical activity programs among Irish farming communities. The Research Coordinator will work closely with Dr. Jeannette Beasley and collaborating investigators in the United States, UAE, and Ireland to support institutional review board application, participant recruitment, data collection, intervention implementation, qualitative and quantitative data management, regulatory compliance, and dissemination activities.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly base rate for this position is $30-$40/hour. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
Per NYU's remote-work policy, this position is expected to be hybrid.
This position with be responsible for supervising and managing 2 undergraduate students, as well as any other students who join the team.
