Head of Welding & Extrusion – Baltek

Are you passionate about process optimization and leading teams toward operational excellence? At Baltek, we are looking for our next Head of Welding & Extrusion, a strategic leader responsible for ensuring our products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and within budget.

You will be the key player in balancing customer demand with production capacity, integrating new technologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

How Will You Make an Impact?

• Production Leadership: You will supervise Team Leads across all shifts, coordinating labor schedules and allocating resources to maintain continuous production while minimizing costs.
• Strategic Management: You will ensure 100% on-time delivery by prioritizing orders, tracking lead times, and developing robust contingency plans for any process disruptions.
• Optimization & Quality: You will apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce dead times, and conduct root cause analyses to ensure strict quality standards are met.
• Technological Innovation: You will collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, and Maintenance teams to evaluate, integrate, and train your staff on new automation solutions and manufacturing technologies.
• Inventory & Data Control: You will utilize MRP systems to plan material requirements, maintain optimal stock levels without overstocking, and manage master data and key performance indicators (KPIs) in SAP.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 3 years successfully leading teams.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in welding and extrusion processes, production planning, and the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Tools: Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred), MS Project, and data analysis tools such as Excel, PowerBi, Minitab, or R.
• Key Skills: We are looking for a passionately agile professional who generates creative solutions, leads change, and builds an environment rooted in trust and teamwork.
• Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel when required and basic English proficiency.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
