Front Desk and Direct Sales Associate – Zoom Room Dog Training Gym (Torrance, CA)

We're seeking an energetic and passionate Client Services and Sales to be the friendly face of our gym, ensuring each client’s experience is nothing short of amazing.

At Zoom Room Torrance, we’re more than just a dog training gym – we’re a vibrant community where dogs and their humans come together to learn, play, and bond! Using positive reinforcement methods, we create a warm, welcoming space for dogs of all breeds and sizes (and their humans too!)

Our ideal candidate thrives on connecting with clients, has at least 3 years of proven direct/membership consultative sales experience, has a passion for delivering outstanding service and (of course!) loves dogs as much as we do. You’re an upbeat multitasker who can handle busy days, an ace at direct sales and social media whiz, and a pro at turning leads into loyal clients.

What You’ll Do:

• Be the Face of Zoom Room: Greet every client and dog with a warm, welcoming attitude, making every visit feel special.
• Drive Sales with Heart: Connect clients to the perfect training packages, close in-person sales, and build lasting relationships.
• Create a Five-Star Experience: Provide top-notch customer service, handle client inquiries and bookings, and manage all front desk operations with flair.
• Master Lead Generation & Management: Work with leads, schedule appointments, and follow up to make sure no client gets left behind.
• Boost Our Social Media Presence: Show off your skills with Facebook and Instagram to attract new clients and keep our community engaged.
• Keep Things Running Smoothly: Maintain an organized, efficient front desk and reception area, manage class schedules, and update client records.
• Embrace a Team Spirit: Collaborate with trainers and team members, contributing to a positive, supportive work environment.

Requirements:

• Strong background in hospitality and client relations (2 years)
• Proven direct sales experience, with a knack for closing in-person sales (2 years)
• Exceptional phone etiquette and people skills
• Experience with appointment setting, lead generation, and follow-up
• Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
• Social media savvy, particularly with Facebook and Instagram
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
• Local to Torrance, CA with reliable transportation
• Available to work evening and weekend shifts.
• LOVES engaging with people and dogs of all sizes and breeds

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
