We are seeking dedicated and experienced English Tutors/Teachers to join our team. Our students range from elementary school learners to high school students preparing for academic success, standardized tests, and future study abroad opportunities.

Many students remain with the same instructor for multiple years, progressing from foundational English skills to advanced academic English, TOEFL, IELTS, SAT Verbal, and college-preparatory coursework.

As an English Tutor, you will provide personalized instruction that helps students build confidence, improve language proficiency, and achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small-group English classes to students.
• Teach reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and academic English skills.
• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans based on students' needs and learning goals.
• Utilize creative teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of the language.
• Support student learning performance, including assigning homework, providing feedback, and optimizing teaching plans.
• Monitor student progress and communicate updates to students, parents, and administrators when appropriate.
• Establish and maintain communication with administrators, parents, and students.
• Complete other tasks related to teaching and classroom management.

Requirements:

• Must currently reside in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• ESL, TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, Reading Specialist, English Education, or related certifications are preferred.
• Minimum one year of English tutoring or teaching experience.
• Experience teaching students across multiple age groups is preferred.
• Experience teaching academic writing, standardized test preparation, or study-abroad related coursework is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Able to effectively utilize digital teaching tools and technology in a remote learning environment.
• Ability to adapt instruction to diverse student needs and learning styles.
• Mandarin proficiency is a plus but not required.
