Compensation: $90,000 -- $110.00 (Based on Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager II who can confidently manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, schedule performance, and financial accountability.

This position is designed for a proven project manager who has successfully led commercial construction projects and is ready to take on larger, more complex projects with greater responsibility and ownership. The ideal candidate possesses strong construction knowledge, financial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve challenges before they impact project performance.

This position is based in our Cookeville office and requires regular jobsite visits.

Position Summary

The Construction Project Manager II is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, financial performance, and successful completion of commercial construction projects.

This individual serves as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field leadership while ensuring projects are completed safely, profitably, on schedule, and according to contract requirements.

Unlike an entry-level or developing Project Manager, the Construction Project Manager II is expected to independently manage projects, lead project teams, navigate complex construction challenges, and make sound business decisions that contribute to the overall success of the company and its clients.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Demonstrated success managing commercial construction projects independently.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and subcontractor relationships.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, sequencing, and project delivery.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong financial accountability and business acumen.

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field.
• Experience with Procore.
• Experience with Sage 300 CRE.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Design-Build project experience.
• Experience managing projects valued between $2 million and $15 million.
