Steamboat Springs School District is seeking an Office Manager to join the District team and support the Director of Teaching and Learning and provide general office support.

This is a full time, year round position, 233 work days with excellent benefit eligibility.
Pay range: $29.98 - $34.45/hour, depending on experience, up to 10 yrs previous admin experience considered.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teaching and Learning Support
General Office Duties
Serves as primary District building and office reception, answers District main phone incoming phone calls, communicates messages, greets and assists walk-in visitors
Support Superintendent and district directors as needed
Maintains supply of current forms, applications, and other documents
Mail/Package Duties:
Retrieve, sort, open, and distribute all incoming mail at the district office.
Post all outgoing mail for the district.
Manage all UPS/FedEx mailings.
Maintain DO office mailboxes for staff and interoffice mail needs. Support internal mail person as needed.
Arrangements for the repair; maintenance of office equipment (copiers, postage meter, shredder.)
Orders supplies and other materials for the District Office
Manage monthly credit card reconciliation for orders and purchases
Maintain cleanliness of the office, conference rooms and kitchen area
Monitors conference room use; maintains a clean, tidy space ready for use. Assist with calendar management and catering orders as requested
Able to work independently; dependent attendance to ensure office coverage
Assist as needed for the issuance of District office building keys/access
Assists with ID badge system for granting appropriate access to staff members
Assists in operation of DNA system to set/secure door locks throughout buildings
Assists District Office staff as requested; crossed-trained to act as back-up for Executive Administrative Assistant duties for Board of Education meetings as needed
Other duties as assigned
High School diploma required. Bachelors degree strongly preferred
Previous office management and administrative experience preferred
Bilingual ability preferred
Able to work regularly scheduled days and hours for office coverage
Computer proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work positively with staff, parents, and community
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form. Ability to copy, coordinate, instruct, evaluate and negotiate. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, or hear.
