Overview:
We are a locally owned hospitality company seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts for a portfolio of four select-service hotels in the Longmont and Denver, Colorado area. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys cultivating strong relationships within the local business community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively solicit and secure new and repeat business for all three properties.
• Conduct outside sales calls, site tours, networking events, and other sales activities.
• Generate group and local business accounts while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
• Collaborate closely with General Managers at each property to align sales strategies.
• Develop and implement hotel-specific marketing and sales plans.
• Assist with forecasting, promotional planning, and occupancy projections.
• Lead and participate in weekly revenue and strategy meetings.
• Ensure hotel staff are well-informed about upcoming groups and VIP guests.
• Support on-property servicing of group events as needed.

Schedule & Availability:

• Must have a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Travel between the three Longmont-area properties is required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of hotel sales experience (Marriott, Hilton, or IHG brand experience is a plus).
• Previous experience as a Director of Sales or in National Sales is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple properties and accounts.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in general computer applications and CRM tools.
• High integrity, strategic thinking, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
• Associates degree preferred.

• Primarily Monday to Friday, with flexibility as needed for events or client meetings.

Preferred Experience:

• 5+ years in sales (hospitality or related industry)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
