**Job Overview** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our standards of food safety and presentation. **Responsibilities** - Prepare ingredients for meals and assist with menu planning and inventory management. - Cook and prepare a variety of dishes to the highest standards, adhering to food safety guidelines and regulations. - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to our health and safety policies. - Assist with food preparation, including chopping, sautéing, and seasoning. - Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with kitchen staff and ensuring seamless service. - Assist with catering and special events as required. - Demonstrate a strong commitment to food safety and handling practices. - Support dietary aides in preparing special dietary dishes and menus. - Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant. **Requirements** - Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a restaurant or catering environment. - Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. - Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. - Experience with food handling and dietary aide responsibilities. - Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings. - Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - A passion for quality food and exceptional customer service.
