Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Expo Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and customer satisfaction, with experience in restaurant or banquet settings. This role involves coordinating between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food to guests, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Previous experience in food handling, culinary arts, or hospitality is highly valued, along with strong communication skills and a focus on food safety.

Duties

• Assist in the presentation and organization of food items for service, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to relay orders and special requests efficiently.
• Clear and reset tables promptly, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in dining areas.
• Bussing tables and assisting servers as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
• Help with food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting the culinary team.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items to answer guest questions confidently.
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
• Support banquet or special event service by setting up stations and assisting with serving duties.
• Communicate effectively with guests to enhance their dining experience through attentive service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or banquet environments preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or culinary tasks is a plus.
• Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required.
• A positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends or evenings if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
