Overview
Responding directly to the Clinical Program Director, the Therapist is an important member of the Aerie Healthcare multidisciplinary treatment team, providing a comprehensive range of clinical services in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) to adolescent participants.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients in the PHP and IOP.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to address various mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Provide weekly individual therapy sessions to adolescents enrolled in the PHP, utilizing evidence-based practices to support progress and the treatment plan.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions biweekly or as clinically indicated to improve communication, support progress in treatment, and develop effective aftercare plans
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute emotional distress.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and clinical supervision sessions to enhance professional development.
• Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, promoting understanding of mental health issues and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with Aerie Healthcare treatment team, parent/guardian(s), and external providers to support program participant discharge and transition planning and execution.
• Utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, ensure that all services provided are appropriately documented per best practices.
• Stay informed about best practices, treatment modalities, and developments in the field of mental health.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure or license eligible as a Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LCMHC, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Experience working in a partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and the interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse caseload.
• Commitment to cultural competence and providing inclusive, client-centered care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
