**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a Developmental and Stem Cell Biologist with strong expertise in mammalian embryology to join our scientific team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with embryo handling, dissections, and developmental biology, and apply this knowledge to generate regenerative tissues from stem cells and primary sources. This role is highly collaborative and cross-disciplinary, interfacing with bioengineers, biomaterials scientists, and translational researchers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Perform mammalian embryo dissections, tissue isolations, and culture experiments to study and model developmental processes.
• Design and execute experiments in stem cell differentiation, organoid generation, and tissue engineering.
• Apply principles of developmental biology and embryology to guide tissue maturation and patterning.
• Collaborate with biomaterials and engineering teams to integrate cells and tissues into 3D scaffolds, perfusion systems, and bioreactors.
• Develop and optimize protocols for reproducible tissue generation and maintenance.
• Analyze experimental results using molecular, cellular, and imaging approaches; present findings internally and externally.
• Mentor junior scientists and research associates in stem cell biology, embryology, and advanced culture techniques.

**Qualifications:**

• PhD in Developmental Biology, Embryology, Stem Cell Biology, or related field; or MS with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian embryos, including dissections and culture.
• Expertise in pluripotent stem cell culture (iPSCs/ESCs), directed differentiation, and/or embryoid body/organoid systems.
• Strong foundation in developmental signaling pathways and embryonic tissue patterning.
• Skilled in molecular biology, immunostaining, microscopy, and quantitative image/cell analysis.
• Demonstrated track record of publications, patents, or translational project contributions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

**Preferred Skills:**

• Experience with early embryonic tissue engineering, vascularization, or metabolic support of tissues.
• Prior work with bioreactors, perfusion systems, or embryo culture devices.
• Knowledge of translational considerations for cell- or tissue-based therapeutics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
