Intermountain Claims, Inc., a premier regional independent claims adjusting and insurance services company, is seeking an Auto/ Heavy Equipment Appraiser in the Idaho Falls/Pocatello, Idaho region to handle auto and heavy equipment appraisal claims. Requirements:

The basic requirements for this position include:

• Knowledge of automobiles, motorcycles, vehicles, tractor/ trailer and other specialized heavy equipment, appraisal, repair and claim handling including knowledge of standard labor rates, local body shops, and client guidelines.
• 3 years auto body/ heavy equipment/auto appraisal experience preferred.
• Have an insurance adjuster’s license or a willingness to complete the adjuster licensing course and successfully complete the state exam.
• Computer skills including a working knowledge of CCC, Truck Writer, Word, Excel, Email, and Data Entry.
• Travel (day trips only) is required, as is a reliable vehicle, current driver's license, and be bondable.

A successful candidate should possess:

• Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and be a “self-starter”.
• Effective Communication: Good reporting and writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients.
• Honest, Ethical Character.
