Summary

We are seeking a Controller to join our team at Washington County Memorial Hospital. This pivotal role will oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, contributing directly to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Manage cash flow and optimize financial performance through effective cash management strategies.
• Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accuracy in financial records.
• Implement and maintain financial software systems for efficient reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Lead the preparation for audits and ensure adherence to SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Proven experience in a financial management role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial software applications, including Xero or similar systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account reconciliation.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Experience in cash management and corporate accounting is advantageous.

Pay: $83,200.00 - $113,049.61 per year
