We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and personable Bilingual Spanish Front Desk Medical Associate to join our growing team in the Houston Medical Center. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients, delivering exceptional service while managing administrative and clinical front desk responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. You must have 1-2 years experience in a medical clinic setting, with Insurance verification knowledge.
We are looking for a long-term team member who is dependable, energetic, and a fast learner. The right candidate will receive training and support to succeed in this role.

- Have am Excellent communications, via phone or text required.
- Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments (4 days in advance)
- Verify medical insurance (5 days in advance preferred)
- Check patients in and out
- Post payments and maintain accurate records
- Respond to daily emails (Spanish and English)
- Work patient waiting lists and complete assigned daily tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Perform data entry, filing, and general clerical duties
- Assist with supply inventory and basic office management tasks
- Address patient inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications Required:
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- 1–2 years of Medical office setting experience .
- Insurance verification experience is a strong plus.
- Experience with EMR systems and strong computer skills. (Athena will be helpful.)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), Fast learner.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Professional, team-oriented attitude.
- Reliable with consistent attendance.
