Store Greeter and Barista

Meierotto Jewelers is Kansas City’s leading jewelry store. We are located just minutes north of downtown Kansas City.

We are actively searching for a Store Greeter and Barista to join our team. A successful candidate must be personable with an outgoing personality that can speak with guests as they first arrive to the store. The candidate will also be responsible for providing drinks to customers, including water, soft drinks and coffee. This position has the possibility of being part-time but full-time is preferred. The ideal candidate for this position is honest, works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the door with a positive attitude

• Maintain the foot traffic throughout the sales floor for efficient flow of customer service

• Communicate with clients clearly and respectfully

• Provide assistance to staff as needed

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service

• Maintain appearance of showroom area

• Provide drinks to customers including water, soft drinks and coffee

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality that works well in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to communicate with clients clearly

• Be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 20lbs

• Ability to multitask

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Have reliable transportation

• Must be able to work Saturdays

Work hours & Benefits

This is a preferred full-time position and will be located on site with no option to perform tasks remote. Typical 5 day work week is Tuesday-Saturday. We are closed between Christmas and New Years and most major holidays. Open extended hours during the month of December. Both part and full time employees may be asked to work additional hours for special events or training.
