The Opportunity

US Frame Factory is a cold-formed steel framing manufacturer building the structural backbone of commercial projects across the Southern US: metal studs, track, trusses, and prefabricated wall panels for hospitality, multifamily, and commercial construction. We grew from $6M to $12M last year, and we are targeting $20-25M this year on our way to building a $100M company.

We are hiring a Recruiter / HR Coordinator to own full-cycle hiring for open roles and to keep the day-to-day people operations of this company running smoothly. This is a hybrid seat by design: half your time is spent finding and closing candidates, the other half is spent making sure onboarding, records, policies, and employee questions are handled quickly and correctly. This is not a role for someone who wants to only do one or the other. We need someone who can shift from a candidate call to a benefits question to a new-hire paperwork deadline in the same afternoon, without dropping any of it.

What You'll Own

• The pipeline. Full-cycle recruiting for open roles across the company, from intake through offer and close. You build it, you work it, you keep it moving.
• The hiring manager relationship. Partner with hiring managers to define what “great” looks like for each role, coordinate interviews, and keep the process moving fast.
• Onboarding. Own the new-hire experience from offer acceptance through first 90 days: paperwork, systems access, orientation, and check-ins so every new hire starts strong.
• HR administration. Maintain accurate employee records, manage HRIS data entry and updates, and keep documentation audit-ready and compliant.
• Employee support. Be the first point of contact for day-to-day employee questions on policies, benefits, time off, and general HR processes.
• Compliance and process. Help maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, and required filings, flagging gaps before they become problems.
• The interface with leadership. Partner with department leads and executives so hiring plans and people operations support what the business actually needs, not just what's on the org chart.

Who We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, or a combination of both.
• Comfortable owning both relationship-driven work (sourcing, interviewing, closing candidates) and detail-driven work (records, compliance, HRIS data).
• Strong organizational skills: you don't let onboarding paperwork or open reqs fall through the cracks.
• A data-first operator on the recruiting side: you manage by pipeline and time-to-fill, not gut feel.
• Discretion and good judgment: you're regularly trusted with sensitive employee information.
• Growth trajectory: we are scaling fast, and we want someone with the ambition and capacity to grow into broader talent or HR leadership as we do.

Most companies split recruiting and HR coordination into two separate seats. We combined them on purpose: at our size, the person who finds great candidates should also be the person who makes sure they land well and stay set up to succeed. That means this role touches the entire employee lifecycle, not just the hire.

You will work directly with [CEO / Head of People / leadership] on hiring plans, people processes, and building the operational backbone that lets the company scale. As we grow, so does this seat.
