Role
The Head of Sales is responsible for building, scaling, and operating the patient conversion engine for our clinic network.
This is a high-volume acquisition environment where every inquiry is the front door to a multi-year patient relationship. The role owns the full conversion funnel, from first contact through booked and returning patient, across three channels: phone (call center), in-person (front desk), and messaging (WhatsApp/SMS). The focus is on converting inquiries into patients who return, enroll in membership, and grow in lifetime value.
You lead both strategy and execution. You set direction, build the scripts and systems, coach the team, and stay close enough to the calls and conversations to make informed decisions on what improves conversion.
This role partners closely with ownership and the front-desk/call-center staff to define the ideal patient, improve lead quality, and ensure that the way we sell is aligned with long-term patient retention, not just short-term bookings.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end patient conversion engine across phone, in-person, and messaging channels.
- Set and execute the conversion strategy, translating clinic goals into scripts, follow-up systems, and channel-specific playbooks.
- Optimize for CAC to LTV — not just cost per lead — ensuring we acquire patients who return and enroll in membership.
- Build, train, and lead the front-desk and call-center team on conversion technique, speed-to-lead, and consistent follow-up.
- Establish and maintain reporting that connects every inquiry to its outcome: contact → appointment → patient seen → revenue.
- Ensure every lead is contacted in under 5 minutes and followed up through a structured multi-touch process.
- Drive membership enrollment, since membership patients carry more than double the lifetime value of non-members.
- Partner with ownership to define the ideal patient, improve lead quality, and keep a feedback loop between conversion data and patient retention.
Requirements
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, spoken and written — required.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or sales management, with direct ownership of conversion or revenue targets.
- Proven experience leading and coaching a sales, call-center, or front-desk team.
- Strong understanding of CAC to LTV economics and experience optimizing for client quality and retention, not just volume.
- Comfortable owning CRM systems and building reporting that ties acquisition to lifetime value (experience with GoHighLevel a plus).
- Experience building sales scripts, follow-up systems, and team workflows from scratch or through rapid scale.
- Sells with warmth and trust, not high-pressure tactics — our patients are families making health decisions.
- Demonstrated use of data and/or AI tools to improve sales output, speed, or decision-making.
Results
Success in this role is measured by outcomes, not activity:
- Patient conversion volume is consistent and growing month over month across all three channels.
- CAC to LTV is clearly measured and improves quarter over quarter.
- No-show rate decreases through better confirmation and follow-up systems.
- Membership enrollment increases as a percentage of new patients, raising average lifetime value.
- Lead quality and conversion improve over time, with a stronger feedback loop between sales and patient retention.
- Sales reporting is accurate, real-time, and used to drive decisions.
- Team conversion output increases without a proportional increase in headcount.
Schedule & Location
- This is an onsite role, based full-time at our headquarters office in Dallas, TX.
- Travel to clinic locations only when necessary for staff training and coaching.
- Standard business hours with flexibility based on patient volume and performance cycles.
