About the Role
We are seeking a senior PeopleSoft HCM Security Administrator to design, build, maintain, and document the full security model for a government enterprise PeopleSoft Human Resource Management System (HRMS). The environment spans HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Labor on PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 and 9.2. This is a hands-on senior role responsible for the complete security matrix, incident resolution, object migration, and knowledge transfer to client staff.
Minimum Requirements
PeopleTools:
Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, File Layouts, SQR, Query, Application Messaging, Change Assistant, XML Publisher, Integration Broker, SQL
Bachelor's degree in IS, Business, or related field — or 5+ years relevant corporate IT experience
Excellent technical documentation and customer-service skills; self-directed, able to lead initiatives end to end
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Segregation of Duties (SoD) and SOX-compliance experience
IAM/IDM integration; SailPoint, Active Directory, or Appsian/GreyHeller governance tooling
Experience mentoring/training junior PeopleSoft team members
Prior public-sector / municipal government PeopleSoft experience
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the full PeopleSoft security matrix across all HCM modules
Work with HRMS Functional Analysts to translate access requirements into security designs
Document security requirement specifications and build solutions to meet them
Troubleshoot and resolve security incidents; collaborate with DBAs and System Administrators
Migrate and track PeopleSoft objects and security projects across environments
Provide help-desk support for HR application security issues and root-cause analysis
Develop test conditions/scripts; document and test assigned roles and security objects
Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer to client technical staff
Provide weekly status reporting to the project manager
Work Environment
This position is performed on-site five days per week in Mineola, NY. Candidates must be local to the NYC metro / Long Island area or able to commute daily for the full ~18-month engagement. Interviews are conducted in person
Pay: From $75.00 per hour
