Position Summary:

The Homemaker provides essential unskilled household services to individuals in their homes to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy living environment. This role supports clients who may be elderly, disabled, or recovering from illness, helping them maintain independence and dignity in their own homes.

• Housekeeping Tasks:
• • Light cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping)
  • Bathroom and kitchen sanitation
  • Trash removal
  • Bed making and linen changes
  • Laundry services
• Meal Support:
• • Meal planning and preparation
  • Dishwashing
  • Assistance with special diet plans (as directed)
• Errands and Shopping:
• • Grocery shopping
  • Essential errands (may include handling client funds under supervision)
• Companionship and Support:
• • Providing emotional support and social interaction
  • Escorting clients to appointments or outings (as needed)
• Documentation and Communication:
