The Infrastructure Analyst II on the Patch Management Team will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations related to patch management. This position will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling patch-related changes, managing team logistics, supporting the patching efforts, and serving as a liaison between the patch management team and application teams. You will be at the center of change management, ensuring seamless communication, efficient resource planning, and adherence to timelines.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the patch management team and various application teams to ensure clear communication regarding patching requirements and schedules.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially in managing time-sensitive changes in dynamic environments.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all change schedules, patch deployment plans, and related processes.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, coordinate discussions, and manage communication with technical teams.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Education and Experience Required:
Minimum of 4 years’ higher education and/or work experience
Prior experience reading and digesting technical information
Detail-oriented
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience communicating technical problems to management
Strong customer focus, including ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities
Prior experience providing updates and statuses
Experience with change scheduling tools and IT service management (ITSM) platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).
Preferred
ITIL or other change management certifications are a plus.
Experience in an IT infrastructure or operations role
