Warehouse Associate is responsible for all activities in the warehouse assisting production. Warehouse Associate is essential in all inbound and outbound handling, material staging/clearing, and warehousing.

Qualified applicants must possess tangible experience in food processing or warehousing, team leadership and strong problem solving skills. Warehouse Assistant must also comply with all local, state, federal and company regulations including, but not limited to: OSHA, FDA, EPA and SQF.

• Work closely with Production Supervisor and Production Operative to accurately, efficiently, and safely deliver all production goals by ensuring materials are delivered to the production floor in a timely, organized manner
• Load and Unload Trucks with all documentation filled out accurately and timely
• Warehousing, inbound/outbound handling, material staging, cleaning
• Effectively and efficiently moving finished product into cooler and maintaining organization.
• Organizing of materials and shipments of outbound finished product in accordance to FIFO standards
• Correctly document all necessary information related to raw and dry materials to finished product to ensure full traceability records
• Must be able to operate Forklift
• At times, work a flexible schedule as needed: Including nights, weekends, and holiday shifts
• Actively participates in teams and adds value with their participation
• Follow instructions and perform routine and repetitious tasks completely/accurately. All work meets or exceeds standards
• Work safely and follows all applicable safety procedures. Prevents employees from doing unsafe tasks
• Follow all applicable FS&Q policies. Identifies FS&Q issues in the plant and regularly reports these issues. Prevents employees from doing improper FS&Q tasks
• Innovative and possess ability to multi -task and shift priorities quickly while maintaining control, focus and professionalism in a fast paced and dynamic environment

Job Requirements:

• High school Diploma, GED
• Experience operating a Forklift is required
• 2-5 years of experience in a food production / warehousing environment. Previous dairy, food and beverage industry experience preferred
• Understands and discuss the application and implication of changes to processes in competency
• Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 Hours
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 60 pounds
• Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance
• Must be able to climb ladders, work at heights, work overhead, work in confined spaces and work in very hot and very cool environments
• While performing the duties of this job, the technician is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day
