Send updated resume to brandon.frey@randstadusa.com We are looking for an Electronic Assembler / Soldering Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling electronic components and performing hand soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs).

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and subassemblies following work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Perform hand soldering of through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) components.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and rework electronic assemblies as needed.
• Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and basic electronic test equipment.
• Follow ESD procedures and company quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with electronic assembly and hand soldering.
• Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings.
• Familiarity with ESD-safe handling procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and schematics.
• Perform hand soldering of through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) components using soldering irons and other specialized tools.
• Install wires, connectors, cables, switches, and other electronic components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and wiring diagrams.
• Inspect solder joints and assembled products for quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
• Repair or rework defective assemblies by removing and replacing components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, microscopes, tweezers, and precision measuring equipment.
• Conduct functional testing and basic troubleshooting of electronic assemblies.
• Verify that products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Follow electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures to protect sensitive electronic components.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Accurately document production, inspections, repairs, and test results.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining high quality standards.
• Follow company safety procedures and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with quality inspectors, technicians, engineers, and production supervisors to resolve assembly issues.
