Code Ninjas – Lead Code Sensei (Tech Tutor)

*Part Time * Curriculum Training provided * Some Coding/Technical background required*

Location : Plymouth, MN/ Maple Grove, MN/ Minnetonka, MN

Available Shifts : Upto 25 hours per week. Must be available for atleast 3 weekdays that you are working (Monday – Thursday from 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM and/or Saturday 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM)

Training : Curriculum training provided

Coding Experience : Some understanding required with the ability quickly pick up the concepts

Job Description:

We are looking for Code Sensei’s to join our team to oversee the day-to-day coaching and student engagement. Responsibilities include:

• Provide high-quality but fun coding instruction to students and help them develop their skills.
• Create a positive, safe, and fun learning environment for all ninjas participating in camp programs.
• Become familiar with the curriculum and ensure activities and lessons are delivered as designed.
• Lead and supervise daily lessons, ensuring students remain engaged and supported.
• Observe students to understand their skills, interests, and learning levels and adjust support as needed.
• Mentor and train other instructors (sensei)
• Provide friendly and helpful feedback to parents regarding their child’s participation and experience
• Follow all opening and closing procedures for the dojo each day.
• Provide daily updates to the Center Director regarding student engagement, and overall classroom flow.
• Ensure the dojo (classroom) remains clean, organized, and maintained according to corporate standards.

Qualifications:

• Working history with children ages 5 and up (babysitting, mentoring, coaching, tutoring etc.)
• Some background in coding, or sharp enough to quickly pick up the basic concepts
• Works well with others; collaborates and adapts to changing situations
• Must be fun, adaptable and able to help our ninjas have fun too!

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
