Job Summary:We are looking for a dynamic Payroll Clerk to manage our organization's payroll and financial processes. Your duties will include running payroll, documenting invoices, and managing the flow of petty cash. You will also be required to update accounting databases and report any financial discrepancies to management. To ensure success as a Payroll Specialist, you should possess strong financial acumen and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and running payroll accurately and on schedule
• Managing company assets and financial expenditures
• Preparing financial documents such as invoices, tax filings, and monthly profit reports
• Maintaining files on accounts receivable and updating records as required
• Managing the flow of petty cash by recording all monetary transactions
• Ensuring that suppliers are informed of any changes to service agreements and payment options
• Updating management on any financial discrepancies found during payroll, tax filing, or invoicing duties
• Archiving financial documentation and updating accounting databases on a monthly or annual basis
• Adhering to best practices in payroll and accounting, as outlined by industry experts and espoused by the company
• Processing and recording financial transactions using debits and credits
• Preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records
• Performing account analysis and reconciliation
• Assisting with financial statement preparation
• Supporting the accounting team with various administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field
• At least one year of payroll or accounting experience
• Experience running payroll using payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Gusto, or similar)
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
• A solid understanding of financial processes such as bookkeeping and tax filing
• Knowledge of basic accounting and payroll principles and procedures
• The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
• The ability to collaborate with coworkers, clients, and suppliers

Pay: $22/per hour
