We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Personal Injury Liens Negotiator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating and reducing medical bills and liens with healthcare providers, private health insurance carriers, Medi-Cal/Medicare, and other governmental entities. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of personal injury cases, and the ability to effectively manage lien resolution.

Daily Tasks:

• Responsible for reducing medical bills and liens with healthcare providers and insurance carriers.
• Candidate should be familiar with the liens process, and current negotiating practices.
• Assemble, organize, and itemize client medical bills.
• Effectively communicate with doctor's offices, co-workers, and clients alike.
• Update the firm's database promptly with accurate data.
• Upload and share pertinent documents appropriately.
• Build a strong rapport with potential clients.
• Work closely with the Attorneys at Sunset West Legal Group
• Negotiate medical liens with medical providers, Medi-Cal, Medicare, and/or collections agencies.
• Verifying outstanding bills and lien amounts
• Provide clients with updates regarding the negotiations of their medical bills.
• Maintain accurate records and handle administrative responsibilities associated with processing case disclosure

Your Skills:

• Ideally 2-3 years of personal injury experience, including negotiation of medical liens.
• Knowledge of medical treatment and medical provider types.
• Experience managing a large volume of personal injury cases.
• Strong computer skills and experience with Office 365.
• Detail oriented
• Superior communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
• Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude.
