Structural Engineer (Early Career)

Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 + Full Benefits

A well-established structural and civil engineering firm on the New Hampshire Seacoast is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its growing team. The Structural Engineer will support the design, analysis, and documentation of structural systems across a variety of commercial, institutional, and development-related projects. This role is ideal for someone eager to strengthen their technical foundation while learning directly from senior engineers in a practical, team-oriented setting.

• Assist with structural analysis, design, and preparation of construction documents
• Work on structural systems for commercial, institutional, and site-related building projects
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with design development
• Support drafting and coordination efforts using engineering software and AutoCAD
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, architects, consultants, and clients
• Participate in project meetings and assist with technical problem-solving
• Conduct occasional field visits, site observations, and construction support activities
• Continue professional development toward PE licensure if not already licensed

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus (Master’s is a plus)
• 1–5 years of structural engineering experience
• EIT strongly preferred; PE track encouraged
• Familiarity with structural analysis and design software
• AutoCAD experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in an office-based team environment
• Desire to learn, grow, and take increasing ownership over time
