Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) – Assessor & Group Facilitator
Part-Time with a Clear Path to Full-Time
Hybrid Counseling is seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking for a flexible part-time position with the potential to quickly transition into full-time as our programs continue to expand.
At Hybrid Counseling, we believe treatment should adapt to our clients—not the other way around. We utilize innovative approaches such as telehealth, community-based services, and flexible scheduling to reduce barriers to care while giving our clinicians greater autonomy and work-life balance.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while collaborating with a supportive team and taking ownership of their caseload.
Responsibilities
As an LADC with Hybrid Counseling, you will provide services across the continuum of care, including:
- Conduct Comprehensive Chemical Health Assessments
- Complete Rule 25/Comprehensive Assessments and treatment placement recommendations
- Facilitate Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and outpatient group counseling
- Provide individual substance use counseling
- Provide individual mental health therapy (for candidates also licensed as a Mental Health Professional or Practitioner)
- Develop and update treatment plans
- Coordinate care with referral sources and community providers
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Many of these services can be provided remotely, allowing for a flexible hybrid work environment.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold an active Minnesota Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) license
- Mental health licensure (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LPC) is a plus but not required
- Be comfortable using technology and electronic health records
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Take ownership of their caseload and advocate for clinically appropriate services
- Have strong communication and organizational skills
- Be knowledgeable about mental health, substance use, and community resources
- Build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Have flexibility to work some evenings as needed for group programming

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour
