Inventory Analyst
Reports To: Director of Operational Excellence
Location: Pasadena, TX
Who We Are:
AXion Logistics is a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider with a focus on the petrochemical industry. We have developed strong relationships with petrochemical clients, EPC companies, integrated material suppliers, and mechanical service providers. AXion leverages proven processes and technologies to manage Maintenance, Repair, and Operating (MRO) materials, inbound logistics, preservation, and surplus material disposition.
Position Purpose:
The Inventory Analyst supports plant maintenance and operations by ensuring inventory accuracy, optimizing stock levels, and providing data-driven insights. This role is responsible for analyzing inventory performance, managing replenishment processes, and delivering reporting that supports operational efficiency and client satisfaction while adhering to all safety requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- · Maintain accurate inventory levels across all systems and locations
- · Perform data validation and upload inventory changes into system
- · Track label completion, initial orders, and inventory movements
- · Oversee annual physical inventories and reconciliation processes
- · Manage offsite and client-specific inventory programs
- · Process and monitor replenishment orders for stock materials
- · Analyze inventory, usage, and performance data using Excel and Power BI
- · Generate reports such as usage, stock master, order history, and scan history
- · Monitor KPIs including inventory accuracy, fill rates, and on-time shipments
- · Develop min/max inventory recommendations based on usage trends
- · Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and support QUARTERLY BUSINESS REVIEWs
- · Support onboarding of new clients, vendors, and inventory programs
- · Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and suppliers to resolve issues
- · Support invoice validation, goods receipts, and order closeouts
- · Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- · Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
- · Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI experience preferred
- · Knowledge of industrial or MRO materials
- · Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- · Warehouse or supply chain experience preferred
