Raptor Scientific, a global Aerospace & Defense test and measurement company, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support the production of high‑precision components used in our calibration and test systems. This position is responsible for developing, optimizing, and validating CNC programs for multi‑axis machining operations and ensuring high‑quality, efficient machining processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in CNC programming, machining practices, tooling, and CAD/CAM workflows and will contribute to continuous improvement across the machine shop.
As part of the Raptor Scientific Family, our team develops and supports precision calibration instruments used across the Aerospace and Defense industry. We are focused on customer needs and provide full-spectrum support including engineering, calibration, manufacturing, and repair operations.

The full-time hours for this position are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and every other Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Full benefits package available after 30 days.
RESPONSIBILITES
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
· 5+ years of CNC Mastercam programming experience in aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing
· Ability to read mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of material
· Strong proficiency in G‑code, M‑code, and CAD/CAM tools (Mastercam, SolidWorks, or equivalent)
· Knowledge of CNC machine controls, tooling, and material properties (aluminum, steel, titanium, plastics)
· Proficiency with standard measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
· Strong analytical and mathematical skills for precision machining
· Ability to diagnose and resolve machining challenges in dynamic production environments
· Demonstrated ability to train and mentor operators and team members
