American Southwest Electric Arizona, Inc. is seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial and infrastructure electrical projects throughout Antelope Wells. This position is responsible for overseeing projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and confident in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual will serve as a key leader within the company, coordinating with field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
Must be 21 or older, able to clear a Driver License check, and a criminal background check.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and manage electrical construction projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
Financial & Procurement Oversight
- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and change orders.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
Documentation & Reporting
- Oversee project documentation including drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Provide regular written and verbal project updates to company leadership.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Field & Safety Management
- Work closely with field supervisors and crews to ensure proper execution of work.
- Promote and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact schedule or budget.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and general contractors.
- Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
Key Skills
- Strong electrical knowledge and experience in commercial or industrial construction (required).
- Proven experience managing electrical construction projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with Bluebeam, Adobe, Procore, or similar contractor software preferred.
- Strong financial management and budgeting experience.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively address challenges.
