About the Company:
HCS is representing our client, ACE Electric, an established electrical contractor seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex electrical construction projects in the Columbus, OH, Jackson, TN, or Atlanta, GA area.
About the Role:
The Senior Project Manager will provide full financial and operational leadership for assigned electrical construction projects, with a strong focus on data center work. This individual will be responsible for overall project performance, including safety, profitability, productivity, quality, schedule, manpower coordination, cost reporting, and contract compliance.
Reporting to the Division Manager, this role will lead jobsite supervision, coordinate field manpower and materials, manage schedules and financial performance, and ensure projects are executed in alignment with contract documents and company standards.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring a strong electrical construction background, direct data center project management experience, and the ability to operate independently in fast-paced, technically demanding environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex electrical construction projects from planning through execution
- Own project financial performance, including profitability, cost reporting, and monthly financial updates
- Manage project schedules, manpower planning, material procurement, tooling, and equipment needs
- Lead jobsite supervision, including coordination with superintendents, foremen, and field teams
- Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and compliance standards are met or exceeded
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Manage project scope, change orders, pricing, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements
- Coordinate with division leadership and provide consistent project updates
- Identify risks, resolve project issues, and drive accountability across assigned teams
- Support field leadership development through coaching, feedback, and performance management
- Identify fabrication opportunities and collaborate with fabrication teams when applicable
- Support process improvements related to coordination, tracking, reporting, and project execution
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of electrical construction experience
- Minimum 7 years of construction leadership experience
- Direct experience managing data center construction projects
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical theory
- Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Proven experience developing, managing, and executing construction schedules
- Experience leading jobsite supervision and coordinating field manpower
- Experience managing project financial performance, including monthly cost reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with construction software such as Spectrum, Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar platforms

Work Location:
Columbus, OH, Atlanta, GA, or Jackson, TONIGHT area. This is a mostly in-office role with local site visits approximately 1–2 times per week.
Pay: $150,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
