About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Site Development Manager to lead the planning, development, and successful launch of office-based surgical suites. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of site development while building the structure, systems, and processes needed to support a growing portfolio of projects. The Site Development Manager will drive strategic planning, standardize best practices, and continuously improve departmental operations to ensure each site is delivered on time, within budget, fully equipped, compliant, and operationally ready for patient care.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive experience in surgical facility development who thrives on managing complex projects while thinking strategically about the future. They will collaborate across departments, confidently navigate construction, procurement, and operational challenges, and develop scalable solutions that support the continued growth of the organization.
Responsibilities
· Develop and scale the Site Development function to support a growing portfolio of office-based surgical suite launches.
· Design, implement, and continuously improve the systems, workflows, and processes required for efficient, repeatable site development.
· Standardize project management tools, documentation, and best practices across all site development activities.
· Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality as the organization grows.
· Drive long-term strategic planning for the Site Development department.
· Partner with executive leadership to develop departmental goals, resource plans, and scalable operational strategies.
· Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements that support future organizational growth.
· Develop metrics and reporting tools to measure project performance and departmental effectiveness.
· Build cross-functional operational alignment.
· Communicate project status, risks, timelines, and resource needs to leadership.
· Partners with Clinical Operations, Procurement, Facilities, IT, Revenue Cycle, and other departments to ensure successful project execution.
· Prepare the Site Development function for future integration with Launch Services and other operational teams as the organization evolves.
Required Qualifications
· 4+ years of experience in surgical facility development, including Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) or Office-Based Surgery (OBS) suites.
· Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
· Experience sourcing surgical equipment and evaluating vendor proposals.
· Strong organizational, project management, and vendor negotiation skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with healthcare construction or medical facility build-outs.
· Knowledge of accreditation and regulatory requirements for surgical facilities.
· Familiarity with surgical instrumentation, medical equipment, and operating room workflow.
· Experience developing and delivering staff training programs.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
