ABOUT NUMERICA PAC

The Numerica Performing Arts Center (Numerica PAC) is a 550-seat performing arts venue located on Wenatchee Avenue in the heart of downtown Wenatchee, WA. We are a community resource dedicated to promoting the performing arts in North Central Washington.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a creative, collaborative teammate to manage and implement the organization’s fundraising and donor engagement activities in partnership with the Executive Director.

The Development Manager will support the implementation of annual fundraising goals and donor engagement strategies that maximize revenue from foundation, government, corporate, and individual sources. A particular focus will be on establishing and expanding the reach of the Numerica PAC’s individual donor base, raising the giving levels of current donors, developing a plan to improve donor stewardship, and exploring strategies to increase overall giving among members and sponsors.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate must be able to perform the essential duties, with or without accommodation, in the following areas:

DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES AND PLANNING

• Assist the Executive Director in implementing annual fundraising priorities.
• Track fundraising activities and provide regular progress reports.
• Support development-related budgeting and revenue tracking.
• Align all communications, campaigns, and events to the Numerica PAC’s mission.
• Work with the Accounts Manager to ensure proper internal controls are being implemented.

INDIVIDUAL AND CORPORATE GIVING

• Coordinate donor outreach, moves management, and stewardship plans.
• Support donor cultivation and stewardship activities, including communication with sponsors, members, and individual donors.
• Manage the recording of all donor and gift information in the system, ensuring every donation is acknowledged appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Implement year-round donor stewardship activities that are efficient and effective.
• Support Board and volunteer engagement in fundraising activities.

GRANTS

• Collaborate with the Executive Director and Grant Writer to ensure that all pursued grants align with both existing and planned programs, as well as staff capacity.
• Manage grants received and all reporting to grantors, with the assistance of the Fundraising Coordinator and Grant Writer.

EVENTS

• Coordinate and implement fundraising events with the staff, Board, and volunteers.
• Coordinate staff and volunteer support for fundraising events, including the Numerica PAC’s annual Festival of Trees Events, overseeing the procurement of sponsorships, donor communications, procurement of auction items, and software management.
• Assist in organizing the annual Spring Fling fundraiser and identify other innovative event fundraising opportunities to maximize revenue and community engagement.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to curate guest lists for all fundraising events, ensuring key donors and stakeholders are in the room, and strategically seed donations ahead of the events.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5 years of experience in successful fund development.
• University degree or equivalent added experience in non-profit fundraising.
• Proven success in coordinating fundraising campaigns and events.
• Experience coordinating volunteers, events, or fundraising activities preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is highly preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The Development Manager works in a non-traditional office and theater environment. Must be able to traverse short distances and ascend/descend stairs regularly. This role may require flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends during busy seasons and events.
