Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee projects from start to finish.
• Understand and perform take-offs from the job plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Develop complete and accurate estimates with all pricing to be reviewed.
• Generate proposal documents for estimates.
• Keep track of estimating results and success rate.
• Support management with project buyout.
• Draft Letters of intent, PO’s, and sub agreements.
• Manage project submittal process.
• Assist accounting staff with preparing monthly invoices.
• Oversee day to day operations assisting senior staff with schedule and manpower requirements.
• Maintain positive and open relationships with customers.
• Review and approve project costs.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years related experience in construction estimating and management.
• Ability to read contract plans and specifications.
• Understanding of concrete scope of work including structural plans and site work.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Procore, Word, Outlook Bluebeam etc.....)
• Self-motivated and organized.
• Must be able to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
