Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager - Dealership to lead our automotive retail operation with energy and vision. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the dealership’s daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning across sales, service, parts, and administrative departments.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase market share through outbound sales initiatives, B2B (business-to-business) sales, and high-end passenger car sales.
• Drive the sales pipeline by prospecting new clients via cold calling, networking, and marketing efforts; utilize CRM software to track leads and customer interactions effectively.
• Manage inventory control and dealership assets to optimize stock levels while minimizing costs; oversee inventory management processes.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team by providing coaching on negotiation techniques, upselling strategies, and closing deals efficiently.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships through excellent customer service practices; handle escalations professionally via phone etiquette and face-to-face interactions.
• Monitor retail math metrics such as gross profit margins, sales targets, and dealership performance indicators; analyze data to implement continuous improvements.
• Conduct public speaking engagements or presentations to promote dealership offerings at community events or industry functions.
• Ensure compliance with automotive industry regulations and dealership policies; uphold high standards of public safety and vehicle quality.

Skills

• Proven experience in sales management, especially within the automotive industry or dealership environment.
• Strong outbound sales, B2B sales, passenger car sales, and high-end sales expertise with a focus on deal closing strategies.
• Excellent negotiation, communication skills, and ability to build rapport with diverse clients in multiple languages (multilingual/bilingual capabilities preferred).
• Proficiency in CRM software, inventory management systems, and retail math applications to support effective decision-making.
• Demonstrated leadership in sales team management, including coaching staff on sales pipeline development, upselling, and customer relationship management.
• Skilled in public speaking, marketing initiatives, and customer service excellence to enhance brand visibility and client loyalty.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities such as inventory control, retail math analysis, and staff scheduling.
• Knowledge of automotive industry regulations combined with excellent phone etiquette for outbound calls or follow-up communications.
